We offer a wide range of affordable activities for our guests to enjoy.  During these activities, you can get to know the rich culture of the Italian countryside and have the opportunity to contemplate the beauty of nature.  All of the activities can be booked at the farm.  You can participate in the activities as an individual or in a group with other guests

Bread Making

Horseback Riding

Explore one of the most beautiful valleys in the Abruzzi region from a horse!  You will ride along a beautiful river, visit a 13th century church ruin, and have incredible views of an old castle and the surrounding area.  The horses are friendly and well kept, and we can accommodate beginners or people with more experience. Price per person: One € 48, two € 44, three & up € 42.

Visit the Local Shepherd

Learn how cheese is made by a traditional Italian shepherd

Take part in an old family tradition in the Italian countryside.  The shepherd’s family has been making cheese and herding sheep for generations. You can watch the local shepherd and learn how to make pecorino and fresh ricotta cheese.  Price per person: one € 32, two € 28, three & up € 19.

Italian Cooking Class

Learn how to make homemade pasta with fresh ingredients from the farm.  This traditional Italian meal will then be part of the dinner that all the guests can enjoy. Price per person including vegeterian dinner (for dinner with meat, euro 3 extra per person): one € 46, two € 42, three & up € 36

Day Hike

Walk along the beautiful valley of San Pietro in the Abruzzi National Park with a local guide.  On the hike you will see the surrounding mountains, walk along a gorge, and visit a beautiful waterfall where you can swim in the refreshing water.  Price per person: two € 30, three € 28, four & up € 19.

Overnight Hike

Hike along the mountainside to the top of a beautiful mountain and sleep among the stars! You will see beautiful views of the Abruzzi National Park, sleep in a traditional mountain hut, and cook food from the farm over an open fire.  This is truly a magical experience!  Price per person: two € 110, three & up € 90.

Wine tour to to Carbet D.O.C. from Atina

In our valley di Comino a little bit south of the farm a very prestious D.O.C. wine is made. The important national D.O.C recognition arrived over 10 years ago and since then the wine has been getting more and more appreciated in Italy and abroad.
The carbet grapes were first introduced in the area over 150 years ago and they found the perfect place to produce a very special wine.

Take a tour of a unique vineyard in the Valle di Comino in Atina, a small town a short drive south of the farm. This vineyard produces the Cabernet Atina Doc and in the last ten years it has gained its D.O.C. (controlled origin denomination) recognition and is increasingly becoming more appreciated both in Italy and abroad. The French Cabernet grape used to make this wine was first planted in Italy more than 150 years ago by the agronomist Pasquale Visocchi and there is a festival every year celebrating this unique wine. You will have to the chance to visit this beautiful region, see how this special wine is made and taste for you self how delicious it is.

Visit the Pecorino cheese factory

The Pecorino cheese factory is located in Picinisco, 45 minutes drive from the farm. Transportation is provided.
The people are very welcoming and they will explain to you how cheese is made in a professional way. The cheese factory operates on a small scale and sells its delicious cheese in local market and wine bars in Rome.Visit the Pecorino cheese factory in Picinisco, a small town located 45 minutes from the farm. The tradition of making this cheese in Picinisco is more than 1000 years old and this family operated factory has taken special care to preserve the traditional techniques and shapes of the cheese. The unique flavour of the cheese is attributed to the type of feed the animals consume and is very distinct to this area. The owners of the factory are  very welcoming and are happy to show you how this unique cheese is made.

Yoga

Relax and unwind mind, body, and soul while participating in a yoga class along the creek in the woods.  Classes are suitable for people with a wide range of yoga experience, including beginners.  Price per person: one € 35, two € 25, three & up € 19. Italian Language Course

Learning Italian will help you get around Italy while you are travelling!  We offer classes for beginners or more advanced speakers.  Spend a little bit of time learning the language of love.  Price per person: one € 20, two € 15, three & up € 10.

Paragliding

Fly through the sky and touch a cloud with your finger!  Float above the mountains and the surrounding area in the Cassino valley with an experienced paragliding instructor.  Specific weather conditions are needed to fly. 

Bike Rentals

Experience the Italian countryside on a bike!  You can ride the bike to the lake, into town, or you can explore the valley and surrounding forests.  Price per person: half day € 5, full day € 8.
